Re: create gif animation by scrolling a big image

How about this Windows BAT script: magick ^ one-to-ten.png ^ -duplicate 49 ^ -crop 50x50+%%[fx:450-t*9]+0 +repage ^ one-to-ten_1.gif http://snibgo.com/imforums/one-to-ten_1.gif looks fine. First you make 49 duplicates of original image then it seems you are cropping 50x50 frames with starting x pos...

Re: create gif animation by scrolling a big image

to fmw42,
did you mean http://www.imagemagick.org/Usage/warping/#roll ?
How do I use it in my case ?

to snibgo,
output frame size should be 50x50.
Number of frames should be 50 so that each number appears in 5 frames.
Thank you.

Re: how to avoid loss of transparency due to overwriting color in png file

In my case , I want to count/detect green pixel in small circular area of whole image.
So , i have work on that patch .
I can mask the rest of image or extract that part and process it separately.

Re: write a number inside a circle with condition that font size should be automatic

magick -size 100x100 -font "Comic-Sans-MS-Bold" caption:1 -trim -gravity center -background white -extent 100x100 in.png +swap -gravity NorthWest -geometry +10+10 -composite out.png
that works snibgo.
Thanks.

Or use the method I showed you upthread:

Code: Select all

magick -size 100x100 caption:1 -trim -gravity center -background white -extent 100x100 in.png +swap -geometry +10+10 -composite out.png
That did not work .
Take any 1000x440 images as in.png and you will find that '1' is not at 10,10 in out.png .

Re: write a number inside a circle with condition that font size should be automatic

Finally I did it with two commands magick -size 100x100 caption:1 -trim -gravity center -background white -extent 100x100 single-number.png magick in.png single-number.png -geometry +10+10 -composite out.png Snibgo, can you combine them so that I do not need an intermediate image (single-number.png) ?

Re: writing metadata inside image while creating it

I tried that and it works. My command to add metadata was magick ticket.png -set my_comment "[5, 0, 0, 34, 40, 0, 61, 0, 81, 0, 11, 25, 0, 0, 53, 0, 73, 87, 6, 18, 0, 0, 47, 0, 66, 78, 0]" ticket-with-comment.png Now I can read that comment in python using >>>from PIL.PngImagePlugin import PngImageF...

Re: write a number inside a circle with condition that font size should be automatic

Yours and mine are giving identical result . I also added '-undercolor lighblue' then saw that letter 3 has bigger height so it does not occupy much width . Which font should I use to fill the square box ? Assume that my text is one or two digit numbers always. Other option is if I can somehow know ...

Re: write a number inside a circle with condition that font size should be automatic

ok .
I will try .

Initially I had tried
convert.exe in.png ( -size 100x100 caption:T ) -geometry +e+f -composite out.png
where e,f is top left corner coordinate of patch but in this I saw that font size was not best fit.
