Re: Can't remove ICC profile when writing miff files

MIFF and MPC image formats are designed to persist image properties and artifacts so they can be faithfully restored when the image is reread in an image pipeline. Other formats may not support certain image properties such as those in the ICC namespace or if the format specification permit tagged f...

Re: Can't remove ICC profile when writing miff files

The ICC profile is removed, however, the ICC properties remain because you did not explicitly delete them. Try this instead:

Code: Select all

magick xc: -profile sRGB.icc +profile "*" +set "icc:copyright" +set "icc:description" x.miff

Re: Really large images...

ImageMagick can read, process, or write mega-, giga-, or tera-pixel image sizes. See https://imagemagick.org/script/architecture.php#tera-pixel. That of course does not mean you could then host the entire image in memory with Magick.NET. To avoid exceeding memory limits, you could downsize the image...

Re: CLAHE - no real value for clip-limit?

The clip limit can be fractional, however, small changes in the clip limit does not necessarily mean a change in the distribution of excess pixels due to clipping.

Re: Speed up svg -> jpg conversion

Your file has 359222 path elements. You want to build ImageMagick with one of the delegate SVG renderers, with RSVG or Inkscape. The internal renderer has performance issues with that many path elements.

Re: SVG to PNG, getting blank image

The exception is thrown by the libxml2 delegate library. It only supports XML version 1.0. Its a warning so it can be safely ignored.

Re: Speed up svg -> jpg conversion

ImageMagick supports 3 different SVG renderers. One of them is inkscape. To find out which ImageMagick utilizes type `magick -list format` and look for SVG. Which renderer are you using? Can you post a URL to an SVG file that takes a long time to process? If you do, we'll use it to fix the performan...

Re: Command Produces Two FIles

It looks like your command is improperly copy/pasted. Tossing the first part of your command, we get a valid ImageMagick script: convert bgPapaer.jpg \( -size 950x950 -background "rgba(0,0,0,0)" -font /home/lex/share/Mo_De_Studio/audio_blog/OpenSans/OpenSans-ExtraBold.ttf -fill "#000000" caption:"$(...
