From the command line, type

Code: Select all

convert mypdf.pdf null:
Do you get an authorization exception? If so, check your system policy.xml configuration file. There is a policy that prevents ImageMagick from reading PDF files. See https://www.imagemagick.org/script/security-policy.php.

Re: imagemagick get stuck while converting a pdf to jpg

Your PDF has 244 pages. When converting, ImageMagick must first convert each page from PDF to an internal image format and then write it in the format you choose. Each page is stored in memory or on disk until all the pages are converted. See https://imagemagick.org/script/architecture.php#tera-pixe...

Re: How to rotate pdf and undo rotating? Gives unexpected results.

Crosses.pdf includes a profile that is incompatible with the PDF output type. The input is sRGB and the output is gray alpha. You have two choices, strip the profile or force sRGB output with +profile sRGB or -type sRGB. Place either just before the output image filename on the command-line. Why doe...

Re: Problem with "gradient:[WxH]" - IM7.0.8-11

See https://www.imagemagick.org/script/comm ... hp#anatomy and then scroll to the Inline Image Resize / Inline Image Crop sections. We don't want to overload this feature and break this functionality:

Code: Select all

convert -size 400x400 'gradient:[200x200]' gradient.png
