Re: get .psd layer (x,y) positions

Yes that is what you are looking for. And you should skip the first image because that is the merged image and not a layer.

Re: Handling very high page count MultiPage Tiffs

Can you share an image that demonstrates this issue? Is this an image with Photoshop layers or tiff pages? And have you tried using the Ping method of the MagickImageCollection to get the number of images? It would also be nice if you could demonstrate the issue where you request a frame that is to ...

Just created the issue myself and made some changes to Magick.NET. Your feature request will be available in the next release.

Re: Convert IM command to Magick.NET

Most options have the same name as the methods/properties of the MagickImage class. Your example would translate to this: using (var image = new MagickImage(@"c:\Temp\Source.jpg")) { // -units PixelsPerInch -density 96x96 image.Density = new Density(96); // PixelsPerInch is the default. // -resize 1...

Re: Creating TIF with layers

There is an experimental flag `-define tiff:write-layers=yes`that can be used to create photoshop layers inside a tiff file. But there were still some issues when openening these files in Photoshop.

Thanks for finding this. Could you open an issue at "https://github.com/dlemstra/Magick.NET/issues" so I don't forget adding support for this?

Re: MagickNET and raw CMYK data

You can use the PixelStorageSettings class for that. You can find an example in this recent issue: https://github.com/dlemstra/Magick.NET/issues/381

And what happens with the latest version? You are using an ancient one.

Re: Combining many images is incredibly slow on VM

Is your application running in 64 bit on your local machine and in 32 bit on your VM? But that would probably still not cause such a big difference. And you probably want to also follow my other tip to use AppendVertically or AppendHorizontally of the MagickImageCollection. This should also give you...

Re: Specifying gamma when reading pixel data

Not all read settings can/will be used when reading pixels, the Colorspace is one of them. If you want to do the same thing as "-gamma" you will need to call the GammaCorrect method of the MagickImage after you read it.

Re: Combining many images is incredibly slow on VM

You are disposing none of your images. Does this happen instantly or only after a couple times? And you might want to take a look at the MagickImageCollection class that has "Append" methods to combine images.

Re: Loading monochrome pixel into MagickImage

You should use the `string` overload instead.

Code: Select all

new PixelStorageSettings(100, 100, StorageType.Short,"R")

Re: ImageMagick.MagickResourceLimitErrorException

The patch that was made changes the error into a warning and those are not thrown my Magick.NET as you have read in the link that you posted. Would it be possible to share an image so I can add a unit test to Magick.NET to make sure this stays fixed? I am planning to publish a new release later toda...
