I followed the same route, but to get it compiling and use it afterwards I had to perform two additional steps resulting in the following (with version 6.8.7-9): $ wget http://www.imagemagick.org/download/ImageMagick-6.8.7-9.tar.gz $ tar -xzvf ImageMagick-6.8.7-9.tar.gz $ cd ImageMagick-6.8.7-9 $ ./...
