I tried comparing 2 frames, but sometimes there are variations in 2 "bad" frames which are higher than variations in 2 "good" night frames. So it's not a 100% optimal solution.

Dear IM community, I've been banging my head against a wall for 6 months now.
I have a live beach camera which sometimes loses it's signal and produces a still image (which has no curves):

This works for high-contrast, but what about softer or black&white images, etc...?

Documents can be of different sizes and colours. Stamps can be different colours and in different positions (but only 1 stamp per page ...

This is weird, we have a same setup (many server resizing images under heavy load). And we just bumped into the same problem, 4 years later.
Black lines on images. Random black lines.
