when I read a archive .gif with read and write it, I don't get an animated image, I get a static image.

this is how I am trying:

int main(int argc,char **argv)
{
InitializeMagick(*argv);
Image image;
image.read("blue_heart_02.gif");
image.write( "uopoiopo.gif");
}

I am programig a aplication un c++ and I want make a gif out of png images: I used this command in a terminal : convert -delay 5 -loop 3 *.png -scale 480x240 a.gif; and this work ok.
