Thanks fmw42! I'm stumped. I run IM on my Macs... On my FreeBSD production server. I had to replace the production server and I just can't get it to load. I've never run into this before.

I added the following to etc/profile:
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/local/lib
PATH=$PATH:/usr/local/lib

configure / make resulted with:
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -llcms2
