Re: Command for ignoring Alpha Channel in PSD?

I am not a PS expert. I have spent hours trying to replicate something like an image with background transparency and one red circle. I cannot figure out how to do that with PS CC. I can create the layer mask, but not the red circle on background transparency. So unless you provide me with that PSD ...

Re: Command for ignoring Alpha Channel in PSD?

It would be best if you post a link to your PSD file or a simple one that shows the problem so I can test with it. In the mean time I will try to generate a test PSD and see what I can figure out. Did you try: psd:alpha-unblend=off Disables new automatic un-blending of transparency with the base ima...

Re: Failed to convert PNG file with error " IDAT: invalid distance too far back"

On my Mac OSX with IM 6.9.10.34 Q16, I get an error message also

Code: Select all

convert sample.png test.png
convert: no images defined `test.png' @ error/convert.c/ConvertImageCommand/3258.

Mac PREVIEW opens it fine.

Re: Correctly convert from ColorCMYK to MagickColor

I do not know Magick.NET, but your command new ColorCMYK(255, 0, 0, 0, 255); seems to be creating a new CMYK image with Cyan=255, Magenta=0, Yellow=0, and Black=255 For me in the command line, that comes out black. Please show your full set of code so that the experts can properly diagnose your issue.

Re: Grayscale background removal for OCR

try something like this convert 0068_example.jpg -type Grayscale -threshold 25% ^ -define connected-components:area-threshold=5 ^ -define connected-components:mean-color=true ^ -connected-components 4 ^ result.png You may have to remove the long horizontal lines and the table lines. Re: Facing Error while I try convert compressed tiff image(Group4 - CCITT_T.6) to PNG, using ImageMagick's convert.exe?

I have already reported this privately to the ImageMagick developers. It works in older versions of ImageMagick such as 6.9.3.0, but not in current versions of IM 6 or 7. Libtiff will handle it, but ImageMagick is seeing that message as an error and perhaps it should just be a warning.

Re: Merging TIFF files in multi page with C#

I do not not C#, but you should be able to convert from a multipage PDF to a multipage TIFF in command line directly as

Code: Select all

convert -density XX image.pdf image.tif
No need to extract individual tiff files from the PDF

Re: Command for ignoring Alpha Channel in PSD?

Please always provide your IM version and platform. Also your ImageMagick command line. And if possible post a link to one of your PSD files that has this issue so we can test with your image and examine it. Just keep the alpha channel for PNG if that does not cause issues. For JPG, it does not supp...

Re: How to work with layers of PSD in imagick?

What kind of layers? What do you want to do with them? You can extract a layer by referencing it is image sequence number as convert image.psd[0] image.png That will extract the first layer which is usually the flattened layer of all the layers in the PSD. Other layers are done similarly. Layers are...

Re: How to borders on the inside ?

Please always provide your Imageamgick version and platform when asking questions, since syntax may differ. Also provide your command line if possible. The the way to do what you want is to shave off the amount of pixels that you want to add as a border. So if you only want one pixel border, then co...

Re: question about cloneImage problem ?

When you resize your image, it creates new colors due to the resampling which blends pixels in a small neighborhood of the image. So if you create more than 256 colors, the image may go from palette 8-bit to truecolor 24-bit. This is not a bug. If you want to keep the same depth, then reset it after...
