Re: Positioning element(text,image)

gravity tells annotate to position the x,y relative to nw, n, ne, e, se, s, sw, w corners or the center of the image. If you want north west corner (top left), then either leave -gravity off, since nw is the default or specify -gravity northwest. Then if you need to do other things aftewards, you ca...

Re: using "convert" and leaving same names

This works fine for me using IM 6.9.10.16 Mac OSX

Code: Select all

mogrify -negate lenax.png
What is your exact command line and what version of ImageMagick and platform? Your syntax is likely wrong.

Re: Convert 3D LUT to hald image

IM can read the CUBE LUT and convert to an image. But that image is not a HALD image. We are looking for help to apply the CUBE LUT to process an image or to convert the CUBE LUT into a HALD image.

Re: using "convert" and leaving same names

OK. Then snibgo's suggestion of adding -negate to your mogrify command should do what you want.

Re: Stroke , Outline Errors and Debian Version 7

Perhaps it is your lobster.ttf font. Try from another source. Also be sure you have the latest version of freetype delegate. I was using freetype @2.9.1_0

Re: Unable to do PDF comparison

Perhaps you want: magick imageA.pdf null: imageB.pdf -compose difference -layers composite diff_%d.png You will get one png for each corresponding page of the pdf files. The brighter the result the more difference. You can even color code the results using a color LUT image with -clut. See https://i...

Re: Stroke , Outline Errors and Debian Version 7

I do not use Imagick, but in command line with ImageMagick 6.9.10.16 Mac OSX, the following works fine. Note the need to turn off stroke using +stroke after drawing the blue background characters and before drawing the black ones. convert -size 251x76 xc:none \ -gravity center \ -font /Library/fonts...

To my eyes, these two are very close and close to the original tiff Your command convert example.tif -quiet -black-point-compensation -intent Relative -profile /Users/fred/images/profiles/sRGB.icc -colorspace lab -depth 8 -colorspace sRGB -unsharp 0x2 -quality 100 example1.jpg http://www.fmwconcepts...

Re: Converting colour profile oddity - help please

I am not an expert on profiles and -colorspace. But if you need to use -colorspace lab and then convert to sRGB, it would seem to me that you should remove the profile from the beginning, then replace the -colorspace sRGB at the end with the profile to sRGB. Or keep the original profile at the begin...

Re: Converting colour profile oddity - help please

You should not be using both profiles and -colorspace. In fact, I do not see what good it does not convert to lab and then back to srgb with -colorspace. Using -colorspace after using profiles, in general, just degrades the color accuracy. Does your input image have a color profile already. If not y...

Best to create a new topic after so long a time.

If it is really relevant, then you can link back to this topic in your new post.

Re: scripts library load error (macOS)

Note that my polar script is deprecated in favor of the newer and faster -distort polar and -distort depolar. So may just want to use those. See https://imagemagick.org/Usage/distorts/#polar and https://imagemagick.org/Usage/distorts/#depolar
