Just checking and forward slashes work fine on my Mac.

Re: Stroke , Outline Errors and Debian Version 7

I do not use Imagick, but in command line with ImageMagick 6.9.10.16 Mac OSX, the following works fine. Note the need to turn off stroke using +stroke after drawing the blue background characters and before drawing the black ones. convert -size 251x76 xc:none \ -gravity center \ -font /Library/fonts...

Re: Converting colour profile oddity - help please

To my eyes, these two are very close and close to the original tiff Your command convert example.tif -quiet -black-point-compensation -intent Relative -profile /Users/fred/images/profiles/sRGB.icc -colorspace lab -depth 8 -colorspace sRGB -unsharp 0x2 -quality 100 example1.jpg http://www.fmwconcepts...

Re: Converting colour profile oddity - help please

I am not an expert on profiles and -colorspace. But if you need to use -colorspace lab and then convert to sRGB, it would seem to me that you should remove the profile from the beginning, then replace the -colorspace sRGB at the end with the profile to sRGB. Or keep the original profile at the begin...

Please, always provide your IM version and platform when asking questions, since syntax may differ. Also provide your exact command line and your images, if possible. Re: Converting colour profile oddity - help please

You should not be using both profiles and -colorspace. In fact, I do not see what good it does not convert to lab and then back to srgb with -colorspace. Using -colorspace after using profiles, in general, just degrades the color accuracy. Does your input image have a color profile already. If not y...

Best to create a new topic after so long a time.

If it is really relevant, then you can link back to this topic in your new post.

Re: scripts library load error (macOS)

Note that my polar script is deprecated in favor of the newer and faster -distort polar and -distort depolar. So may just want to use those. See https://imagemagick.org/Usage/distorts/#polar and https://imagemagick.org/Usage/distorts/#depolar

Re: scripts library load error (macOS)

Yes, I just figured out what has happened. The ImageMagick format for convert/magick -list configure has changed. So I have to edit every one of my scripts and manually transfer one at a time to my server. I have fixed polar so it should now run fine. Try downloading again. If you need any other scr...

Re: scripts library load error (macOS)

I have fixed the primary issue in the script. But I still get the error message. It appears that my tests for IM 6 vs IM 7 in the script are giving errors when used with IM 7. I have reported the bug on the Bugs form, since it is not an issue with my script.

Re: scripts library load error (macOS)

OK. I can get that script to work in ImageMagick 6.9.10.16 but get your same message in IM 7.0.8.16. So I will investigate. There is probably something I need to change to make it compatible with changes in IM 7.

Re: scripts library load error (macOS)

What was your command line and can you post your image to some free hosting service and put the URL here. It is possible that script has a bug when using ImageMagick 7. So I would need to test it under your conditions. Do other of my scripts fail or just this one? If so, which others have you tried....

The -strip option is respected by the PNG coder. To override, add -define png:include-chunk=pHYs to your command line.
OK. But that does not explain why the density is not converted in value when changing between units when -strip was removed.

See my second example above.

Re: hw to offset text from the top of an image and give it a text alignment of center

PHP exec() is no different from command line imagemagick. You just put your command in the exec("....") area.

If you want other API, there is Imagick and Magickwand for PHP. See those forums on this web site.

Re: pcx palette offset

As far as I know, there is no way to arbitrarily edit the color map. But I will defer to the iM developers for comment.
