Re: Compare result text file size is huge

try convert c:\diff.png -transparent white sparse-color: > c:\diff.txt But that will give one long string. In unix, you can pipe to tr to change the space to a new line, for example: convert logo: -transparent white sparse-color: | tr " " "\n" > diff.txt I do not know if Windows has an equivalent.

Re: Batch autocrop images to fixed size?

I have written a bash shell script to do this with ImageMagick. See the script, xtract, at my link below.

If you are getting bc errors, then you are not likely getting proper results.

Re: Splitting spherical/pano image into square "components"

You probably need to use pano2rect. Then cut that resulting image into your 12 pieces. Fisheye2rect is not likely what you want to use.

Re: Fisheye 235° to equirectangular

You cannot run the script in a Windows CMD. It must be run from a Unix terminal using Unix syntax. In unix, convert has no .exe at the end. So a Unix type ImageMagick must be first installed into the Linux part of your system and then my script can be run from the Linux terminal properly. All you er...

Re: Fisheye 235° to equirectangular

Adding .exe is not correct for Linux. To get rid of those issue, you need to follow the directions on my home page to put the path to the scripts into your PATH environment variable. Without doing that, the script cannot use the unix type command to find the script. As you found out, those are warni...

Re: gif speed is very fast

Add -delay X to your convert command right after convert and not after reading the input. See http://www.imagemagick.org/script/command-line-options.php#delay Please, always provide your IM version and platform when asking questions, since syntax may differ. Also provide your exact command line and ...

Re: Image Magick converts only the first 4 pages of an pdf file

Edit your policy.xml file. See the locations at http://www.imagemagick.org/script/resources.php. On my Mac, it is located at find /usr | grep "policy.xml" /usr/local/etc/ImageMagick-6/policy.xml On my Mac with 8GB RAM, my default resource settings are: convert -list resource Resource limits: Width: ...

Re: Fisheye 235° to equirectangular

You must call the script from a Linux window, not a Windows DOS CMD window. If the script errors earlier in the argument parsing, then it may fail later with other messages about not being able to read the input image. So I would not worry about the second message. You need to run the script from a ...

Re: Fisheye 235° to equirectangular

There is no "-h}" at that line in my script! Not sure what is going on. But I would suggest you test with a simple ImageMagick command line first. If that works, then try one of my simpler scripts such as 2colorthresh. But be sure you have followed my Pointers For Use on my home page at my like belo...

Re: IM7 Read Exception for specific size transparent PNG

Is libpng installed and a current version (mine is 1.6.34)?

Re: IM7 Read Exception for specific size transparent PNG

I can do identify -verbose just fine on IM 6.9.10.6 and IM 7.0.8.6 Mac OSX Sierra just fine on your original PNG image. It is a fully transparent white image.

IM 7.0.8.7 is not released yet, so may be in a state of flux due to development.

Re: Converting CLI Command to C#

I cannot give C# code. But be careful. If your images have spaces in the names, you need to put quotes around the images; otherwise ImageMagick thinks you have two different images. You must also have a space between the parentheses and the command. convert t.png \( "Trent - Fri2.jpg" - resize 1670x...
