Re: How to borders on the inside ?

Please always provide your Imageamgick version and platform when asking questions, since syntax may differ. Also provide your command line if possible. The the way to do what you want is to shave off the amount of pixels that you want to add as a border. So if you only want one pixel border, then co...

Re: question about cloneImage problem ?

When you resize your image, it creates new colors due to the resampling which blends pixels in a small neighborhood of the image. So if you create more than 256 colors, the image may go from palette 8-bit to truecolor 24-bit. This is not a bug. If you want to keep the same depth, then reset it after...

Re: Separating each color in an animated gif into separate gifs

You will have to extract each frame one at a time, then for each color make all the other colors transparent using +transparent somecolor and write that to a new image. That means for each frame you will get up to 256 new images. Is that what you want? To do that, you will have to write a script loo...

Re: Clean scan text flatbed scanner ?

With PDF files that have images imbedded, you perhaps should extract the image from the PDF. Otherwise try rasterizing with a large density value. But that example looks pretty clean to me. With your PNG file, it has noise in it. You could try some noise removal such as -enhance or -morphology. For ...

Re: Clean scan text flatbed scanner ?

There is no need to loop over each image with mogrify. Its purpose is to process all files in the directory. If you want to loop, then use convert rather than mogrify. Also -normalize and -level should not be needed together. You should be able to set argument to -contrast-stretch to achieve the sam...

Re: Conversion of SVG image to PNG will text adds backslashes before quotation marks

Did you not mean 6.9.10-34 and not 6.9.10.35? I see no 6.9.10.35 in the install from source list.

Re: -draw "image DstOver

Here is an alternate way to do this that works and probably the better way without -draw.

Code: Select all

magick -background none -fill blue -font Arial -pointsize 42 label:"A" \( rose: -resize 25x30! \) -geometry +10+10 -compose dstover -composite out.png

Re: -draw "image DstOver

Agreed, it does not work properly on IM 7.0.8.33 Q16 Mac OSX. The A is partially behind the rose. Please report this on the Bugs forum and link back to your topic here.

Re: -draw "image DstOver

Your command works fine for me on IM 6.9.10.33 Q16 Mac OSX. The A is over the rose. What is your platform? What exact release are you calling the "current" one?

Re: Alpha channel gets removed from grayscale image with IM 7.x

This command works fine for me on IM 7.0.8.33 Q16 Mac OSX. As I said above, do not use magick convert. Use simply magick. Adding [0] prevents imagemagick from accessing the background alpha. So I removed it. magick 5845394_02_1c_DE.psd +profile 8bim -depth 8 -units PixelsPerInch -density 300 -type T...

You can try using the string format %[depth] on each channel.

I have moved your post from the Consulting forum to the Users forum, since the consulting forum is for PAID consulting as it says under the link to the forum. I am not an expert on raw format images. So perhaps one of the other uses may be able to help further. ____________________ Please, always pr...

Re: Help batch watermarking in windows

This works fine for me on IM 6.9.10.33 Mac OSX Sierra. Here I mogrify one transparent image, logot.png and put the rose: IM internal image at the bottom right corner. mogrify -format png -gravity southeast -draw "image over 0,0 0,0 'rose:'" logot.png See https://imagemagick.org/Usage/basics/#mogrify...
