Re: Convert 2-bit to png after deskew has odd results

I believe that the reason for the results you get is that JPG is a lossy compressed format and does not support a true binary format. Due to the block-wise compression, it changes your values from two values to many grayscale values. Thus the JPG result will be 8-bit grayscale. Whereas the PNG compr...

Re: Convert 2-bit to png after deskew has odd results

Can you post a link to your PGM 1-bit image, so we can examine it and test with it?

Re: how to rotate svg with point coordinate (bug into IM SVG internal renderer)

Filing a bug report will not do any good. The internal renderer is not very good and that is why you have RSVG and Inkscape options. If you feel that Inkscape is not rendering properly, then file a bug with Inkscape.

Re: how to rotate svg with point coordinate (bug?)

This works fine for me. I see a rotation. I am using IM 6.9.9.34 Q16 Mac OSX Sierra with RSVG 2.40.18 convert test3.svg test3.jpg http://www.fmwconcepts.com/misc_tests/svg_tests/test3.jpg Add -verbose to your command to see which renderer is being used. Perhaps IM cannot find your installed Inkscape.

Re: how to rotate svg with point coordinate (bug?)

What SVG renderer is being used. It could be IM internal MSVG/XML or RSVG delegate or Inkscape. The IM internal one is poor. You should use RSVG or better Inkscape. If Inkscape is on your system and IM can find it, then it will be used. Otherwise, you would need to install the RSVG delegate library ...

See https://www.imagemagick.org/Usage/anim_opt/ https://www.imagemagick.org/Usage/anim_basics/ To reduce file size use -layers optimize. Also use the same color table for all frames via -remap. See https://www.imagemagick.org/Usage/quantize/#remap +dither -colors 128 will ensure you have no more tha...

Re: Convert 2-bit to png after deskew has odd results

What is your IM version and platform? Can you provide your exact command line and your input and output results? You can post them to some free hosting service such as dropbox.com and put the URLs here.

Re: Speckles on live server Image

Can you write this in simple command line format? It is nearly impossible to read this way. And provide any input images? If you save results from each stage, can you see where the speckles first appear? Also you can add +write tmpX.png commands into various places in your code to see where the spec...

How big is the input image in width and height and color depth? Can you provide your input image? You can post to some free hosting service such as dropbox.com and put the URL here. Are you running on a hosted server? What is your RAM capacity?
