Re: installing PythonMagick

Sorry, I do not use PythonMagick. But in the downloaded folder, there is a file called INSTALL. It has instructions for installing. Have you looked at it? There is also a README file.

Re: Fred scripts are NOT working on 64 bit Windows 10

My scripts are unix scripts, not .bat scripts. So my scripts will not run under Windows, but will work in Windows 10 unix. But you have to run them from Windows 10 unix terminal, not a CMD window, I believe. So using Windows paths may not work under Unix. One of the Windows users such as snibgo can ...

Re: Removing All Shades of Grey from an Image

I would modify snibgo's command slightly since you have a JPG which will show JPG compression artifacts. So I increase the threshold to 15%. Unix syntax for IM 6: convert in.jpg \( +clone -colorspace HCL -channel G -separate +channel -threshold 15% \) -alpha off -compose CopyOpacity -composite out.p...

Re: Embedded images in SVG are colour inverted when converted to PNG

You have an imbedded CMYK JPG in the SVG file (Logo 1_1.jpg). So that might be showing with inverted colors in an SVG file.

Please always provide your IM version and platform when asking questions. Also provide an example input and output image, so we can see what is going on and suggest solutions. Post images to some free hosting service and put the URLs here

Re: Embedded images in SVG are colour inverted when converted to PNG

Imagemagick will use any one of 3 SVG renderers: MSVG, RSVG and Inkscape. MSVG is not as good as the other and Inkscape is the best. In IM 7, use magick not convert. I do not see your SVG file listed in your command? But if I use MSVG in IM 7.0.8.45 Q16 Mac OSX as: magick MSVG:original.svg orig_msvg...

Re: Make Error for IM 6.9.10.45 and 7.0.8.45

The following seems to have fixed my make issue, also. We recently updated to the latest autoconf/automake configuration files and something broke. The culprit is likely in automake. Until there is patch try this command to build ImageMagick: ./configure MKDIR_P="/bin/mkdir -p" --disable-dependency-...

Re: Elongated “Shadow” Script

I do not see any elongated shadow and only a hint of any shadow in the white area surrounding the green. Please clarify or provide a better example. Is the elongated shadow what I see as darker green in the green area? Please, always provide your IM version and platform when asking questions, since ...

Re: Make Error for IM 6.9.10.45 and 7.0.8.45

I also had trouble building Magick.NET on macOs with that version. Running `autoreconf -fiv` before `./configure` solved the issue for me for now. If I do that, I get a message. Can you clarify further the proper procedure autoreconf -fiv autoreconf: 'configure.ac' or 'configure.in' is required

Re: Convert PNG to ICO

This command works fine for me on IM 7.0.8.44 Q16 HDRI Mac OSX Sierra. Sorry, I do not use Windows. magick in.png -background none -resize 128x128 -density 128x128 out.ico Do you get those artifacts for all PNG files or just that one? Re: Convert PNG to ICO

Please always provide your Imagemagick version and platform/OS when asking questions. Also post your input PNG so we can test with it. Note that your command should properly read the input first. IM 7 is less forgiving that IM 6. magick in.png -background none -resize 128x128 -density 128x128 out.ico
