Re: Using pango with convert

Is pango installed as a delegate in your ImageMagick. Mine is installed via cairo and lists cairo when I do convert -version Version: ImageMagick 6.9.10-23 Q16 x86_64 2019-01-13 https://imagemagick.org Copyright: © 1999-2019 ImageMagick Studio LLC License: https://imagemagick.org/script/license.php ...

Re: Setting "feather distance"

Here is a Unix approach. Perhaps some Windows user can convert it for you. Input: http://www.fmwconcepts.com/misc_tests/rotate_circle/m1a.jpeg # take the input image, filter it for noise with -morphology (because there is a black spec in the lower left corner). Then convert yellow to white and the r...

Re: Setting "feather distance"

I do not understand why you do not draw your circle about the center of the yellow line. You have drawn it in the center and the yellow line and black circle are not centered. I do not understand what you want to feather? Is it the gray to transparency? It should be easy to trim the background to th...

If not what do you get from identify -verbose your.tiff What is Corel doing? Is it saving as JPG, which does not support transparency? Is your...

Re: Imagick composite produces a significantly larger output filesize

You have converted from palette alpha to tricolor alpha. The latter is 32-bit, while the former is 8-bit. If you want to reduce size, then add PNG8: to your result to get palette alpha as the output.

Code: Select all

$outputLocation = 'PNG8:output.png'

Re: How centering inside line and block with automatically selected font size

Sorry, I do not code Imagick. Best I can tell you is that in this line: $NewImage->annotateImage( $draw, $x_pos, $y_pos + ($i * $line_height * $line_height_ratio), 0, $lines[$i] ); You need to compute the $x_pos, so that the text will be centered. Measure the text width and the image width and offse...

Re: Urgent - please help!

If you upload, some hosting services reformat your image to JPG. This may cause changes in color since it a lossy compression.

Re: Change image color

-respect-parentheses apparently was not converted to IM 7. Use -respect-parenthesis. Also you need to add a null: after your last parenthesis. So in Windows IM 7 with ^ as new line characters to make it more readable, try magick -respect-parenthesis ^ ( input.png -fuzz 50% -fill red -opaque black -q...

Re: SVG with linked images conversion

What is your SVG renderer? ImageMagick could be using inkscape if it is on your system or the RSVG delegate or its own internal MSVG/XML renderer, in order of best to worst. If you have inkscape on your system, Imagemagick will use it automatically. Otherwise, check convert -list format and look at ...

Re: resize same image multiple times for different sizes

Multiple commands in a single line is only for the command line interpreter version of ImageMagick. It does not apply to APIs such as Magick++.
