Re: Magick.NET slows down over time while processing a large batch of images?

The instance that is returned by `image.GetPixels()` is `IDisposable`. You are leaking memory.

Re: dcraw messed up highlights

We still include it because it has some tweaks to make it work with ImageMagick and we added OpenCL support.

Re: Huge temporary image magick files are generated on disk

It might be wiser to inspect the content of the temporary files yourself so you can figure out where it fails. I don't think it is likely that this is caused by an invalid JPEG file.

Re: Multiple uses of IPTC tags

At this moment there is no support for this. Could you open an issue on github to request support for this?

Re: dcraw messed up highlights

We have switched from dcraw.exe to libraw under Windows. Are you sure you are forcing the use of dcraw.exe instead?

Re: chunk data is too large

I just did a search for the text `chunk data is too large` in the code of ImageMagick and it turns out that this only will happen when a .PNG file is being read. I have no clue how I can reproduce your issue with the image and the sample code that you provided.

And can you explain at which moment you get that exception?

Re: chunk data is too large

I have the image and I can read it without any issues. Can you also post a small code sample that I can use to reproduce the issue?

Re: chunk data is too large

Could you add a small sample and share the input image on something like onedrive or dropbox so I can reproduce his?

Re: How to create MagickImage from a pixel array

You should set mr.Format to MagickFormat.Rgb but that will only work when you use the Q8 version of Magick.NET. Otherwise you should change the byte array to an ushort array (Q16) or float array (Q16-HDRI) first.

Re: Equivalent of distort:viewport=WxH+X+Y

You can do this (in C++):

Code: Select all

image.artifact("distort:viewport","your value");

Re: Gradient direction

The command would translate to this: var readSettings = new MagickReadSettings() { Width = 256, Height = 128 }; readSettings.SetDefine("gradient:direction", "east"); using (var image = new MagickImage("gradient:black-white", readSettings)) { image.Write("linear_gradient_east.png"); }

Re: Control (limit) resource usage in Magick.NET using C#

The value is in bytes so you should set it to `33554432` if you want to limit it to 32MiB

You are looking for the ResourceLimits class.
