Re: Imagemagick caption/label decapitates Å (A-ring)

Unfortunately, for example in "Å", the circle gets cut off. I use the Å character for scientific labels on thousands of images. Some fonts seem to render that character without a problem, but I use mostly monospace fonts and I always have to use some sort of workaround to prevent some or all of tha...

Re: Specific Output Names when Using Convert

I'm a hack at best when it comes to writing scripts. I need to be able to drag and drop images onto the script with no additional input as others besides myself will be using this script. This is currently working well, not sure if that is a fluke or not. As snibgo mentioned, if it's working, it's ...

Re: How to tint image to dominant color?

What I don't understand about your version is the whole color lookup table part - with my limited testing right now, it gives exactly the same result as as the simple "-fill "rgb()" -tint" version from above? It might be more flexible though if you modify the color lookup before applying though? Ye...

Re: Center layers relative to each other

How can I automatically center all frames (both vertically and horizontally), without having to manually specify a -page offset for each one? This can be done without much difficulty if you're using ImageMagick 7. Using "ImageMagick 7.0.2-2 Q16 x64" on Windows 7 64, I would use something like this ...

Yep, IM is always good. Your 6.7.x... version is pretty old, so I don't know if it will help (or if it will even work), but you might try adding "-units PixelsPerInch" to your command ahead of the "-density 300" setting.

Re: Density does not work on some JPG images

I'm not suggesting that ImageMagick isn't writing the Exif data in such a way that it can't read it properly. Re: SOLVED - How do I specify font usage order? (fallback fonts)

I'm trying to keep the code portable so as to reduce the config-work required for the end-user. I have a couple IM scripts that use fonts which don't reside on all my computers. I keep the scripts in their own folders, and keep a copy of the OTF or TTF font file right in the same folder. To use the...

Re: unable to open image

Anyone know how I can resolve this problem? Your "dir /b" command returns the file names of the contents of the "%FIRST%" directory, but doesn't include the directory name itself. That makes the "convert" command look for those file names in the current directory, and of course it can't find them. ...

Re: Draw rectangles in different pages with different coodinates

This will draw a black rectangle on top of the name and it's placed correctly on the first page, but the second page has less white space on the top margin, so the rectangle is slightly below the name. How can I draw the second second for the second, third, "n" page with coordinates slightly above ...

Re: How to create a top border only?

Is there a way to use montage or convert to add a border to my (thumbnail gallery of images) image but only on the top edge?
