Re: Icon package stylization

You should be able to simply replace your image for the one in Anthony's Pencil Sketch. Nevertheless, here it is along with the composite I showed you before. convert -size 256x256 xc: +noise Random -virtual-pixel tile \ -motion-blur 0x20+135 -charcoal 1 -resize 50% pencil_tile.gif convert 01.png -c...

Re: how do I rotate image and strip meta using convert?

Yes, for me your first image does not work properly with -auto-orient. But the second image does work fine for me on IM 7.0.8.23 Q16 Mac OSX. I do verify that both images have EXIF:orientation of 3.

I am not sure what is wrong. A guess would be something odd in your file.

Re: how do I rotate image and strip meta using convert?

Both these work fine for me on IM 7.0.8.23 Q16 Mac OSX

Code: Select all

magick image.jpg -auto-orient image2.jpg

Code: Select all

magick image.jpg -auto-orient -strip image3.jpg
Thumbnails look correct on my Mac.

SVG SVG rw+ Scalable Vector Graphics (XML 2.9.4)
This says your are using XML which uses MSVG for the renderer.

Re: Icon package stylization

I do not understand what you want. Are you asking to reproduce the pencil sketch. If so, Imagemagick does not have such a function that works the same way, though you might be able to make something similar by combining other commands. See https://imagemagick.org/Usage/transform/#sketch try convert ...

Re: how do I rotate image and strip meta using convert?

Post one of your images that seems to have issues. Perhaps there is no EXIF orientation in the file.

Re: Command Produces Two FIles

You can do one of at least two simple things to fix your command line. 1) Separate it into multiple commands and show us the commands that work 2) If you cannot get separate commands to work, then put +write tmpX.png statements (X=1,2...N) after each operator and see if it is producing the right ima...

Re: Command Produces Two FIles

That was not quite what I meant. Write all the comments. Then write your commands in sections with line break \ at the end in short sections that fit on the page so that one does not have to scroll left right. You can break a parenthesis section into multiple parts with \ if needed. #comment for lin...

Re: how do I rotate image and strip meta using convert?

There is no reason that -rotate 180 would not work. You already have -strip after it, which is proper. However, your viewer may be seeing the EXIF orientation and automatically correcting it. But then your rotate and strip and get back to the original orientation. If the EXIF data has orientation in...

Re: Command Produces Two FIles

One suggestion is to reformat to put each parenthesis step on a separate line and put \ at the end of each line. That way, we might be able to understand better what you are doing. Another help would be to put a numbered comment line above your whole command for each line of the reformatted command....
