Re: Tidbits - Rounded shadow corners

Thank you! Realy appreciate it!

Though I'd ask as well: does this rule on being overwritten basically apply to other programs/software as well on linux/unix systems?

Re: Tidbits - Rounded shadow corners

I am on a Mac OSX (unix) and do not have to uninstall when installing a new version from source. Pretty sure it is the same with Linux. Pretty sure it's the same as well. So basically when installing new version, previous version gets overwritten? Or it does not get over written and new version is ...

Re: Tidbits - Rounded shadow corners

Thanks for the responses. This command worked: convert imageRndShad.png +repage -resize 300x300 -gravity center -crop 175x175+0+0 +repage cropped.png I was attempting to make a thumbnail for that image. Fred, quick IM upgrade question... on a linux system, to update imagemagick manually, would I hav...

Tidbits - Rounded shadow corners

Hello Fred, I went over to your tidbits page and checked out the 'Rounded Corners with Shadows'. I was able to successfully apply that to an image but when I tried to crop that same image after applying the rounded corners with shadows, I get an imagemagick warning: convert: geometry does not contai...

Re: Montage question

Thanks that worked perfectly! Quick resize question... Say I had an image that is 1500 width by 1950 height.. with the following convert command... how is the image resized: convert myimage.png -resize 1000x1000> resized.png I know that the command above means: 'resize the image if larger than the s...

Re: Montage question

Hmm yes I figured automatically it would not be able to do that. Lets say if I figured out from the image names below in the following convert command that the image labeled: resized0001.jpg has a total width of 711 and the two more additional images that are resized to be about 355 in width to fit ...

Re: Montage question

Thank you for your assistance. That seems to work perfectly but now was also wondering... is it possible to somehow to have images that are big in width (basically 'landscape' images) to take up a whole row in the montage while the 'portrait' sized images for the montage are lined up next to each ot...

Montage question

Hello, I was wondering if it is possible to replicate the image below with imagemagick using the montage command? https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/IQgk2uBIolJ8OBJBb5JmdtMTjNZETYmyPJy0liipFm0?feat=directlink I have tried but I get a lot of white space in my example below. If I can reduce most of...

If tone mapping as snibgo says, you could try one of my tonemap scripts if on Linux/Mac or Windows w/Cygwin
Hi. No, unfortunately I do not have the original image. Tone mapping seems to be the closest to that effect.
