Dimming inside of areas

Post by MrSunshine »

Hi! I need help with dimming the inside of the white areas.
I want the edge of the white areas to be fully white while i want to gradualy dim it by a set border side to a set lower value. After the border size is reached i want it in an uniform color. Is this possible somehow ?
somthing like this.

a full white border and an inner dimmer area is acceptable also. but need to be able to set the border size and how much dimming of the inner pixels that happends =)

Best regards

convert 70.png -evaluate min 90% -unsharp 0x5+27+0.0011 test5.png

This seems to do it for me =) big areas gets dimmed by set amount (10%) and i get the bright edge i want around it =) and no geometry loss when comparing the original and destination image =)
