What is error 267?

Post by Howard M. »

I have never used ImageMagick before.

I am getting error 267 and I don't know what it means. Any help.

System Exec.vi. Command was ""c:\Program Files\ImageMagick-7.0.10-Q16\magick.exe" convert c:\temp\_hirez.jpg -resize 720x480 c:\temp\image_helio"

I just realized that the problem is that I don't know how to run the program because I am a Mac User. The problem is specifying ImageMagick. Any help for a Mac guy?

Your command indicates it is being run on Windows. How are you doing that if you are on a Mac?

For Mac users, it is best to install ImageMagick 7 from Homebrew. Then use the convert command with Mac file path syntax, not Windows paths. There is no C drive on a Mac. And the suffix exe is a windows binary and does not work on Mac.

I just solved the problem after a lot of work. I had to run it on Windows. The problem was that output needed the jpg - c:\temp\image_helio.jpg.

Error 267 was a Windows error.

I added that and it worked. The problem is closed.
