ImageMagick converts the colorspace automatically unless you specifically override it with the -colorspace option. Try, for example,
  • convert image.cin -colorspace log image.tif

You will find a patch in ImageMagick 6.2.8-2 Beta sometime tomorrow to permit you to set the colorspace.

Can you post a URL to one of your DPX files so we can download and reproduce the problem. If we can reproduce it, we'll patch the DPX coder to fix the problem.

You could always send the URL as a private message. We only use the image to fix the bug then toss them.

We found a bug when writing the orientation header of the DPX image format. A patch will be available for ImageMagick 6.2.8-2 Beta by tommorrow. Thanks for the problem report.

The DPX patch is in the current ImageMagick release, 6.2.8-3.
