Help need with identify command

Questions and postings pertaining to the usage of ImageMagick regardless of the interface. This includes the command-line utilities, as well as the C and C++ APIs. Usage questions are like "How do I use ImageMagick to create drop shadows?".

Using the latest IM with FX math escapes for format....

identify -format "%[fx:w/72] inches x %[fx:h/72] inches" BRITAIN HOSTAGES.jpg"

ImageMagick 6.3.0-4 Beta (available tommorrow) adds image.resolution.x and image.resolution.y to Fx to return the image resolution.
