Auto color correction and contrast correction?

Post by Bruce Anderson »

Hello to the forum.

I wonder if ImageMagick can be used in any of it's forms to do a "color correction", also a "contrast correction". The result would be something similar to the tools of the same name in Photoshop. Basically the image is looked at and balances the color and contrast on a simple rule. It would correct mistakes in color or contrast made by consumer digital cameras.

Any info would be much appreciated.

Many people have requested auto-level like feature, as per photoshop. However no one has been willing to do, or has time to do the implementation of such an algorithm.

The closest Im currently has a -normalize, and -contrast-stretch 0%, and -linear-stretch.
However none of thse do the job you are requesting.

Sorry.
