Windows version with no command line???

Post by Xiornik »

I was wondering if anyone could make a windows version of imagemagick because I don't know how to program (use a command line).

I was able to use filter forge which has a simple windows interface without a command line.

I want to manipulate the details of an image but don't know how to use a command line.

Thanks.

There are no downloadable GUI-based versions of Imagemagick for Windows that I know about. But there is an online version. See http://www.imagemagick.org/MagickStudio

What would that do that Gimp doesn't do?

As it happens, I've built (but not published) a GUI around IM. But it is for specialist activities, rather than general-purpose image editing, and doesn't implement the full capabilities of IM or Gimp.

Nip2, the GUI for Vips, has an interface to IM.

If you want a free GUI image editor, Gimp is good. I'm not sure if they've released a large-bit-depth version. That was still in alpha testing, last time I looked.

If you have a budget, Adbobe make good products.
