Black image from noisy image

Post by optikaa »

Hi

An image upload using PHP/imagick is giving a black image, the image is very grainy/noisy which is from halftone magazine print that is already been heavily compressed. I blurred the image to be sue it was that and it worked fine.

Is there anything that can be done to make it work, maybe a memory issue?

You message is not very clear about the issue. What does "make it work" mean?

We cannot help with such little information and no picture to view. You did not even provide your command line so we do not know what the input and output formats are.

Please, always provide your IM version and platform when asking questions, since syntax may differ. Also provide your exact command line and if possible your images.

It's converted using the PHP extension, I changed the format from PNG to JPG and that has solved it.
