Hi I am trying to convert RGB images into n-channel Hexachrome space. I have downloaded profiles from Pantone site: https://www.pantone.com/pages/pantone/p ... 2&pg=20338
The following command give an error:
Code: Select all
-profile ./profiles/sRGB_Profile.icc \
-profile ./profiles/CTPUctdMed.icc \
convert: color profile operates on another colorspace `icc' @ error/profile.c/ProfileImage/1054.
Version: ImageMagick 7.0.9-21 Q16 x86_64 2020-02-13
Mac OSX 10.12.6
Installed through Homebrew 2.2.5
Other conversions with RGB or CMYK profile are working without error. It looks like the support for n-channel profiles doesn't exist at the moment, although I cannot find anything to suggest this limit. Any help would be great.

The ICC Profile Inspector says CTPCtdMed.icc will convert from 3 channels to 6 channels, or from 6 to 3. Perhaps this is for a 6-channel printer.
As far as I know, ImageMagick cannot yet cope with 6-channel images, or create them. A developer may comment.
