Using Adobe ACE in ImageMagick

Post by patrikcar »

ImageMagick is creating pretty good results when converting RGB to CMYK color conversions, however there are slight differences in the output result when using IM (with Little CMS) and Photoshop with Adobe ACE.

Is there a way to set up IM to use a different CMM/CMS than Little CMS?
Can IM work with Adobe ACE?

Any input is greatly appreciated.

The differences would probbaly be because RGB is not actually very well defined

For example you could have: Linear-RGB, srgb, gamma-RGB

The handling of these differences has been the source of major debate and changes in IM recently.
