What method magick uses when converting color profiles?

Post by VasyaIvonov2 » 2019-11-07T07:10:03-07:00

In Adobe Photoshop in settings of convert profiles there are 4 methods:
Perceptual
Relative colorimetric
Absolute colorimetric
Saturated

What of these use magick when converting image from one color profile to another?

You can choose, by setting "-intent" before the conversion. See https://www.imagemagick.org/script/comm ... php#intent . Beware that not all profiles support all four intents. If your chosen intent is not available, another will be silently used.

Thank you greatly! But what method is used in AddProfile in ImageMagick for .NET? No any parameters in that method for "intent"

I don't understand. "-dither" has no relevance to "-profile" conversions.

In magick yes. I already understood that. But in Adobe Photoshop in "Convert profiles" there is such option "Dither".
