I use the following command to obtain a RGB555 tga starting from a RGB888 png:
magick src.png -depth 5 dst.tga
With the version 7.0.8-34 Q8 everything is ok. I downloaded the release 7.0.9-16 Q8 today and the result changed from the previous release in this way: the conversion tool select the 5 most significant bits of each color component but then subtract 1 to the result. So 0x08 became 0x01 with the old release while become 0x00 with the new one, 0xb3 became 0x16 with the old release while become 0x15 with the new one and so on.
Is this the expected behaviour or this can be considered a bug?
I use the statically linked version of image magick and my operating system is Windows 10 updated to the last available update.
thank you for your help.
