Hi all,
Support (both reading and writing) for Zip-compressed TIFFs appears broken
in ImageMagick-6.2.7-0-Q16-windows-dll.exe.
I'm using win2k and everything works perfectly with
ImageMagick-6.2.5-5-Q16-windows-dll.exe but not any 6.2.6 version I've tried
(6.2.6-0,1,2,3,7,8).
"convert test_zip.tif -compress none out_none.tif", where test_zip.tif is a
Zip-compressed TIFF file saved by Irfanview 3.98, produces a broken output
file as well as the following error:
"convert: Deflate compression support is not configured. `test_zip.tif'."
"convert test_none.tif -compress zip out_zip.tif", where test_none.tif is an
uncompressed TIFF file saved by Irfanview 3.98, produces a file whose size
is larger than test_none.tif (and c.50% larger than the result of using the
same command with ImageMagick-6.2.5-5-Q16-windows-dll.exe).
Any ideas what's wrong and if/when this will be fixed please?
Cheers,
Mark.
