Convert any file type to .tiff while using highest quality settings.

I will know path of the single image to be converted, but not the image type. Im using MS DOS with ImageMagi...

Inner border
Hi.
Is there a quick way to add an inner border to an image? I have been using -border, but as expected it adds the border outside of the image creating a larger image.
Any help is appreciated.

Re: Aliasing for 45 degree edge
Hi. Thanks for the replies. The issue was actually related to the how I was using coordinates to distort the image to create 45 degree output. I was using a combination of pixel and image coordinates using exact values and %h. The result was that the output was off just enough to present the issue. ...

Re: Aliasing for 45 degree edge
I'm using version 6.9.3-3 Q16 x64 2016-02-06. It was not related to a specific project just some observations as I was learning the distort and trying different things. All my experimenting used only the following. -virtual-pixel transparent -filter point -interpolate nearest -distort BilinearForwar...

Aliasing for 45 degree edge
Hello everyone. I have been experimenting with the -distort -filter point and noticed some interesting results when output image contains is 45 degree angle. Given that edge is 45 degrees, I would expect the edge to be precisely 1 pixel step pattern. I noticed that one edge is usually as expected bu...

Re: Apply blur or sharpen to image, excluding edges.
Update: I was able remove the white edge of the outside border, as it was related to another issue. The white edge of pixel at inner border edge still remains.

Apply blur or sharpen to image, excluding edges.
Hello, I am overlaying a creative border to a photograph. The hole in the border is transparent so the photo remains visible. The border extends to the edge of the canvas of the photo. All is good, but there is a white edge of pixels at the inner and outer edge of the border. I'm assuming this is a ...

-resize using image size information
I have successfully resized the image without preserving aspect ratio using the following: -resize 800x400! ...but I am unable to get any result using the image size information instead. There is no change in image using this: -resize "%%[fx:w]"x"%%[fx:w/2]! Is this a syntax issue? Th...

Use white color for virtual pixel on Motion blur
I have applied motioned blur (from right to left) on an image that is partially transparent (background none). The motion blur is applied just the way I like except for a the black color at the beginning edge of the blur. I understand that there is no pixels to blur...but how do I get ImageMagick to...
