Re: Scale image with transparent background but convert background to black

from what I found is this issue only happens when original image size is same as the target size,
it will set background to black, after adding background none, it will set background to whole white box

so the bug is iM cannot scale this kind of image same as its original size

Perhaps it is your version of libpng. If it is old, try upgrading.
Hi,

we cannot upgrade ImageMagick easily, I am just wondering if add "background none" in the scale command, will it introduce more bug? or it is safe to add it?

Re: Scale image with transparent background but convert background to black

The simple command... magick "SHIRT_ART_IMAGE B07KW1Q17J.png" -resize "4500x5400^!" x.png ... works for me with IM 7.0.8-64 and 6.9.9-50. I suppose the requirement to add "-background None" is a bug in newer versions. we are using older version (IM6 some version), and we can only use convert but no...

Re: ImageMagick7 runs much slower than version6

-limit thread 1 just disable your 16 processors and forces Imagemagick to use just 1. It has nothing to do with HDRI. To disable HDRI or OpenMP, you have to recompile ImageMagick. I doubt disabling OpenMP will make a difference since -limit thread 1 did not seem to help. just one concern is what do...
