Re: new pdf:version option [resolved]

Thanks for you answers.
Stripping the metadata before generating the pdf works and generate a pdf v1.4 that seems to be correct.
I'll now dig into the impact of stripping this embeded color profile, but that's another subject.
Thanks. :)

Hi there, I saw that you've recently added an option in 7.0.10-1 to specify the pdf:version to use in output of a conversion. I'm very interested as I need to provide pdf v1.4 to my printer, so I've tried a bit around this option, running on Version: ImageMagick 7.0.10-2 Q16 x86_64 2020-03-22. Howev...

Re: convert : flatten option darken all my images

So I performed further tests around the colorspace, always specifying the -flatten option, with 3 tests: no colorspace specified, RGB or sRGB. sRGB seems to give the expected result every time, but the 2 other case, are more unexpected. I've performed some ...

convert : flatten option darken all my images

Hi, I used to work fine with ImageMagick 6.8.9 with a packaged version in Ubuntu 15.10. I'm now trying to use ImageMagick 7.0.9 with a compiled version. In the newer version each time I use the -layer flatten option to create a jpeg file from another format (ai, tiff, eps, png, etc), the resulting j...
