Re: rounded corners are not symmetrical

You are using a very old version of Imagemagick -- more than 3 years old. Try upgrading and then try your command again.

Re: How to use custom font

What is your command line? Perhaps you have specified it wrong. There should be no reason that you could not use the path to the font. What platform are you on? Is this your server/computer or a hosted server? You are missing fontconfig from your delegates. Try installing that and then run your comm...

Re: How to use custom font

What platform? What version of Imagemagick? See https://imagemagick.org/script/resources.php for a list of locations where you can put it. I am not sure if that works properly with PHP Imagick. The Perl script needs to be run from a terminal window. I do not know much else about using it, especially...

Re: Error resize with the height

My misunderstanding. I thought it was a setting that had to be before reading the image. Thanks

Re: possible bug with -auto-orient in IM 7

Thanks. All this time I though it was important to put it before the image list. My error.

Re: Command line: set density to get cm without resizing

Windows can work without quotes, but in Unix, the quotes are needed. I think double quotes will work in Windows, but I will defer to Windows experts on that issue.

For other differences, see https://imagemagick.org/Usage/windows/

[CLOSED] possible bug with -auto-orient in IM 7

In IM 6.9.10.11 Q16, the following works:

Code: Select all

convert -auto-orient logo: logo.png

But in IM 7.0.8.11 Q16, it shows an error:

Code: Select all

magick -auto-orient logo: logo.png
magick: no images found for operation `-auto-orient' at CLI arg 1 @ error/operation.c/CLIOption/5251.

Re: Error resize with the height

Dirk, I get your same values. But Mac Preview shows two portrait mode images with width=600. I think the issue is that there is EXIF orientation information for lgeqsv2v.jpg which is RightTop. It looks like Imagemagick identify is reading the file size without reoriented and my Mac PREVIEW is reorie...

Re: Command line: set density to get cm without resizing

I do not know much about clipboard: but I think the correct syntax for the density would be '%[fx:w/7.7]' Computations cannot be done with string formats such as %w. But they can be done in fx expressions as above. If you want to add style use the buttons above the editing window rather than adding ...

Re: Error resize with the height

I tested all your images using Imagemagick 7.0.8.11 Q16 Mac OSX Sierra with magick mogrify -resize x600 -format jpg -path ../images2 * All your landscape format images ended up with height = 600. The two portrait image ended up with width = 600. This is the same whether I use IM 6.9.10.11 or simply ...

Re: Error with "magick convert"

What is your platform? Are you sure that the image is in the right directory, spelled correctly, the path is correct and that it is not corrupted. Try moving the image to your working directory where you are issuing you command and where you are saving the output. Does that work as: magick sea_ocean...

Re: Fax image processing (needs to be fast)

I do not know for sure, but I suspect it is multi-threaded.

If you have lots of cores, you may be better running simultaneous jobs with one thread for each core than trying to use multiple threads for a given task.
