Re: Huge temporary image magick files are generated on disk

It sounds like your image is damaged. You can post your image to any free hosting service and put the URL here. If you cannot do that, then the .NET developer will have to discuss this issue and other means for you to provide your image.

OK. Great! But in the future, please provide full information about your IM version and command lines used.

Re: Converting PSD File (Bitmap mode) into various formats results in black image on linux

P.S. What is your exact ImageMagick version 7.0.3.x and 6.9.6.x. Both are rather old. You might consider upgrading. What was your exact command line?

Re: Fisheye 235° to equirectangular

Yes this solves the issue about unary operator. The "^M" error remains, but I don't get why as I left the file in UNIX format as downloaded and just replaced the calls to IM executables as said. How could you replace the calls to convert.exe in my script without saving the file again. If opened it ...

Re: Fisheye 235° to equirectangular

One more point about your use of convert.exe. Did you install ImageMagick into your Linux install or are you still trying to use your Windows install. You should have installed a Linux version of ImageMagick into your Linux system on your PC Windows 10. I have no clue about the ^M, since I do not us...

Re: [MagickWand] Keep SVG background transparency when compositing

First I would suggest you use the convert syntax in the command line rather than the composite syntax. The former is more flexible. But the main question is whether your SVG and/or JPG files are RGB or CMYK. ImageMagick does not always work well to composite if one or both images are CMYK. So if so,...

Re: Fisheye 235° to equirectangular

Linux should not need .exe suffixes. Perhaps you have not put the path to ImageMagick in your PATH environment variable.I do not know Windows Linux, so I cannot comment. If bc is installed, then I do not know why you get that error. I made one change to the script to see if I can get rid of that mes...

Re: Need help related to SHADOWHIGHLIGHT feature

First, you have not told me what version of ImageMagick and patch date you are using nor what platform. So I cannot test even your version to see if there are any differences on my Mac OSX Sierra. Second, not all default arguments are the values you have used. Even so, when I try to use your values,...

Re: convert pdf to jpg using profile parameter

Do you have that profile on your system where you path shows it? Is it a valid profile? Does the input PDF already have a profile imbedded? Sorry I know little about Windows, so these are just simple checks.

Re: Converting PSD File (Bitmap mode) into various formats results in black image on linux

This works fine for me on ImageMagick 6.9.10.6 Q16 and 7.0.8.6 Q16 HDRI Mac OSX Sierra. Also with version 6.8.9.9 Q16.

Code: Select all

convert bitmap.psd[0] bitmap.png
You could also try

Code: Select all

convert bitmap.psd[0] -type bilevel bitmap.png
or

Code: Select all

convert bitmap.psd[0] -depth 1 bitmap.png

Re: HI THERE, I HAVE A QUESTION, HELP ME?

Photoshop may be ignoring all meta data. Have you tried adding -strip to ImageMagick command to remove meta data. What type of original image are you starting from when doing the resizing? What was your exact command line? Photoshop sometime reads meta information from a proprietary profile rather t...

Re: Paths and rectangles off by one pixel.

I think you need to draw it as a point. See the changelog:

A SVG rectangle with a width and height of 1, is a point.
