Re: I can't make this script to run in

Do you have Ghostscript installed as a delegate to Imagemagick?

Does

Code: Select all

magick -version
or

Code: Select all

magick -list configure
list gs or gslib?

Re: Command to Mogrify png images created or modified after a certain date only?

Your version
ImageMagick 6.9.7-4 Q16 x86_64 20170114
by version is ancient. By patch date, 1/14/2017, it is over a 1 1/2 years old. Check with your Linux distro to see if there is more current patch.

Re: ImageMagick hangs when resizing png files when running from an AWS Lambda

-quality values means something different for PNG than for JPG. See https://www.imagemagick.org/script/comm ... hp#quality

Also order of settings and operators is important in IM 7. Put -quality last before the output and after the -thumbnail.

Please, always provide your IM version and platform when asking questions, since syntax may differ. Also provide your exact command line and if possible your images. Re: I can't make this script to run in

Mogrify does not allow clones or parenthesis processing. You will have to write a bat script to loop over your input folder using magick command only and writing the output to the other folder. Sorry I do not use Windows. So perhaps one of the Windows users can help further.

I do not know how to help. Your input image is rather poor.

Try using seed colors in the script rather than just some number of colors. But I doubt that will work. You can also try -remap. See https://www.imagemagick.org/Usage/quantize/#remap

Re: I can't make this script to run in

Windows syntax is different from the Unix syntax command you were using. See https://www.imagemagick.org/Usage/windows/ Try removing the \s magick 1.jpg -colorspace gray ( +clone -blur 0x1 ) +swap -compose divide -composite -linear-stretch 5%x0% a1.jpg If in a .bat script, then double the % to %%.

Re: extracting biggest square from a rotated image

I have a bash unix Imagemagick script called autotrim that will do an inner trim. See my link below. No guarantees that it is optimal. I ran it on your image to do the crop and to show where the crop occurred. http://www.fmwconcepts.com/misc_tests/autotrim/black_rotated_30.png autotrim -m inner -f 1...

But I had not added -ping to the command. I though that meant that the pixels would be read. Is that not true?

Re: Using montage to highlight only one image in array

For IM 7, you need to change convert to magick and montage to magick montage #!/bin/bash montage one.png two.png three.png four.png -geometry 800x800+20+20 img1.png convert one.png \( two.png -mattecolor red -frame 10x10+5+5 \) three.png four.png miff:- | montage - -tile 2x2 -geometry 800x800+20+20 ...

Re: Using montage to highlight only one image in array

You cannot do that in Montage. But you can put a frame around one image, then use montage to combine them. Or just use append.

see

https://www.imagemagick.org/Usage/crop/#frame
https://www.imagemagick.org/Usage/layers/#append_array
