Re: convert - PICT to TIFF results in 000000 bytes

magick identify -verbose says your image is 3k x 2k pixels. The format page at https://imagemagick.org/script/formats.php says that if your image is actually PCD, then your image is too large and thus is huffman encoded, which ImageMagick does not support currently. PCD RW Photo CD The maximum resol...

Re: Fill image with other colors

try convert balloon.jpg -channel rgba -fuzz 20% -fill none -opaque "rgba(225,0,66,1)" -fill "rgba(255,255,255,1)" +opaque none -alpha off result result.png Since your image is JPG and JPG is lossy compressed, we need to use a fuzz value to allow for variations in your image colors. Also since you ha...

Re: Pages, Layers, Bands, Channels

Look in the TIFF specifications. Channels correspond to red, green, blue for example. Bands are one form of specifying how r,g,b values should be formatted in a channel -- eg. all red, then all green then all blue, rather that line interleaved or pixel interleaved. Pages correspond to different imag...

Re: convert - PICT to TIFF results in 000000 bytes

Post your PICT image to some free hosting service such as dropbox.com that will not change the data and put the URL here so we can test with it.

Re: Positioning element(text,image)

What tool are you using to create the text and position it. Is the text from an image or not? See the following link and the various methods of creating or adding text: https://imagemagick.org/Usage/text/ Annotate and draw add text to an existing image. Note that -annotate respects gravity, but -dra...

Re: Positioning element(text,image)

gravity tells annotate to position the x,y relative to nw, n, ne, e, se, s, sw, w corners or the center of the image. If you want north west corner (top left), then either leave -gravity off, since nw is the default or specify -gravity northwest. Then if you need to do other things aftewards, you ca...

Re: using "convert" and leaving same names

This works fine for me using IM 6.9.10.16 Mac OSX

Code: Select all

mogrify -negate lenax.png
What is your exact command line and what version of ImageMagick and platform? Your syntax is likely wrong.

Re: Convert 3D LUT to hald image

IM can read the CUBE LUT and convert to an image. But that image is not a HALD image. We are looking for help to apply the CUBE LUT to process an image or to convert the CUBE LUT into a HALD image.

Re: using "convert" and leaving same names

OK. Then snibgo's suggestion of adding -negate to your mogrify command should do what you want.

Perhaps it is your lobster.ttf font. Try from another source. Also be sure you have the latest version of freetype delegate. I was using freetype @2.9.1_0

Re: Unable to do PDF comparison

Perhaps you want: magick imageA.pdf null: imageB.pdf -compose difference -layers composite diff_%d.png You will get one png for each corresponding page of the pdf files. The brighter the result the more difference. You can even color code the results using a color LUT image with -clut. See https://i...
