Opps, the 3rd on need a resize. I made the pencil image bigger so there less repeat. I don't know how your horse is ending up green. I just keep the pencil template around, so I'm not generating it all the time ( the more intensive operation) If you don't use -fx intensity, you end up with a color s...

Hmm, I'm looking to remove red eyes in my shots too with IM. With the photography, I believe that if the flash is further from the lense it helps to remove it. They also have red eye reduction settings on cameras (it preflashes to make people pupils smller) To remove red eye after the picture is tak...

Cool, thanks anthony, that helps. I still have to use the blur factor, which tends to round out the edges. In the Cutout effect, the edges are more straight is seems. The autotrace seems to produce something similar to cutout as well, but I end up w/ little white patches in between certain places on...

Here's an example of photoshop cutout. It's just a way of reducing colors. http://morpheus.cc/myworld/gallery/fx/photoshop/cutout.jpg I think I was about to do it before with IM, but I forget now. Whenever I try to reduce the colors with "-colors #" the photo turns out bland. I've also tried "-segme...

The edge effect can be used to create lines..

-blur 0x2 -edge 15 -edge 1

But, it really depends on what kind of picture you have and want to get out.

Old time effects..

Hi, I'm looking to make some old time photo or movie effects, and I was looking for advice and examples of what could be done with IM. I've tried the basic BW, sepia and vignette.. I'm hoping to add things like rounded borders, rips, scratches, hairs, dust, etc. Has anyone tried this, or do you have...

resizing animations (different sized frames)

Hi, I've been tottally messing up animations that have different frame sizes. When I resize, I'm using: mogrify -resize 100x100\! image.gif However, some frames are only partial, and I really want it just to scale the whole image, not to resize each frame. Is there an easy way to do this with out ha...

I'm having the same problem as your original post. I wish it was easier to track down these dependancies.

Well, I'm not sure if the region painting would work... some letters may overlap in strange ways... and, if I could get the dimentions of the letters, I could draw them seperately.

how would I properly get the dimensions of the letters? Is there another program outside of IM command line tools?
