"display -delay" no longer loops
Hi! From http://bugs.debian.org/529702: Some recent update to imagemagick seems to have broken the ability of the -delay flag to loop through a list of images. The specific manifestation of this I've noticed is that formerly if I ran, eg. "display -delay 100 pic.jpg" it would just sit ther...

mogrify doesn't detect image format
Hi! From http://bugs.debian.org/531350: From the mogrify manual: "By default, the image format of `file' is determined by its magic number." $ file 982434113.jpg 982434113.jpg: JPEG image data, JFIF standard 1.02 $ mogrify -resize "40x40" 982434113.jpg # OK $ mv 982434113.jpg 982...

PerlMagick isn't configured nor compiled
Hi! With ImageMagick 6.5.1-0, a simple " ./configure; make " would configure and compile both ImageMagick and PerlMagick. Now with 6.5.4-8 it seems that doing the same process, files inside the PerlMagick dir aren't touch (no PerlMagick is configured nor compiled). Install-unix.txt says &q...

Latest SVN revision fails to build
Hi! Using the latest version from SVN (revision 213), I am seeing this: /bin/sh ./libtool --silent --tag=CC --mode=compile gcc -std=gnu99 -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I./config -I/usr/include/freetype2 -I/usr/include/X11 -I/usr/include/libxml2 -I/usr/include/lqr-1 -I/usr/include/glib-2.0 -I/usr/lib/glib-2.0...

Wrong exit code?
Hi!
From http://bugs.debian.org/524058
ImageMagick version is 6.5.1-0
Thank you!
From http://bugs.debian.org/524058
Shouldn't it return 0 instead 1?after imagemagick upgrade, display now returns always false.
e.g.:
zito@bobek:~$ display rose:
zito@bobek:~$ echo $?
1
display was exited using Ctrl-Q.
ImageMagick version is 6.5.1-0
Thank you!

Problem in detecting screen resolution
Hi! From http://bugs.debian.org/523608: Newer version of imagemagick seem to have a problem with detecting the screen resolution. For instance, when using display -window root -backdrop picture.jpeg now diplays the image sticking to the top left of the screen, while it used to center it nicely. Simi...

Broken DjVu file makes ImageMagick consumes 100% of memory
Hi!
From https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/351743, ImageMagick consumes all the system memory when trying to convert or display this DjVu file: http://launchpadlibrarian.net/24529655/test.djvu
Tested here with ImageMagick 6.5.0-0

"Memory allocation failed" with SVG file
Hi! Converting this SVG file http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/f/fa/Flag_of_Antarctica.svg gives a wrong image. By running " convert Flag_of_Antarctica.svg Flag_of_Antarctica.png " the resulting image is somehow "cropped". See http://naoliv.googlepages.com/Flag_of_Ant...

Patch for license URL in manpages
Hi!
Here http://people.debian.org/~naoliv/misc/i ... -patch.txt is a patch that fix the location of the local license page (it should be file://@DOCUMENTATION_PATH@/www/license.html and not file://@DOCUMENTATION_PATH@/www/license.php).
Thank you!

Re: Missing symbols between ImageMagick releases
Hi! Talking with Daniel Kobras (who also co-maintains ImageMagick on Debian), it seems that you are exporting symbols that should be kept privately: > So are they exporting private symbols? (and that is why > dpkg-gensymbols is saying that some have disappeared?) Correct. There's nothing wrong with ...

Missing symbols between ImageMagick releases
Hi! On the latest Debian package we have added some infrastructure to deal with symbols exported by the ImageMagick libraries. One problem that we saw is that some symbols just disappear (and without a SONAME change). For example, DecryptImage@Base and EncryptImage@Base that were exported by ImageMa...
