Hmm, I'm looking to remove red eyes in my shots too with IM. With the photography, I believe that if the flash is further from the lense it helps to remove it. They also have red eye reduction settings on cameras (it preflashes to make people pupils smller) To remove red eye after the picture is tak...

Cool, thanks anthony, that helps. I still have to use the blur factor, which tends to round out the edges. In the Cutout effect, the edges are more straight is seems. The autotrace seems to produce something similar to cutout as well, but I end up w/ little white patches in between certain places on...

Old time effects..
Hi, I'm looking to make some old time photo or movie effects, and I was looking for advice and examples of what could be done with IM. I've tried the basic BW, sepia and vignette.. I'm hoping to add things like rounded borders, rips, scratches, hairs, dust, etc. Has anyone tried this, or do you have...

resizing animations (different sized frames)
Hi, I've been tottally messing up animations that have different frame sizes. When I resize, I'm using: mogrify -resize 100x100\! image.gif However, some frames are only partial, and I really want it just to scale the whole image, not to resize each frame. Is there an easy way to do this with out ha...

Multi colored text.. font metrics?
Hi,
I'm trying to add multicolored text (ie. each letter a different color) to an image, I'm using the command line tools.
How would I do this?
I'd Image I'd have to draw out each letter of the text indivually, but how do I get the spacing to do that properly, programmatically?
