Reducing animated gif file size.. video

Post by dognose »

I'm hoping to reduce the file size on animated video gifs.. It seems much of the animation optimizations are for
when only parts of the image are updated, but I know video is a bigger challenge..

What's the best way to optimize a gif like this?

Perhaps a non-IM solution might be more efficient. See http://www.imagemagick.org/Usage/formats/#gif_non-im. Otherwise, see http://www.imagemagick.org/Usage/anim_opt/
