why is the "magick" command not available on ubuntu?

Questions and postings pertaining to the usage of ImageMagick regardless of the interface. This includes the command-line utilities, as well as the C and C++ APIs. Usage questions are like "How do I use ImageMagick to create drop shadows?".

I can't use the "magick" command as in windows. only "convert"

Ubuntu and most of Linux systems have not made the change to IM 7, yet. Some flavors of Linux may be offering both versions with IM 7 an option, but you would have to check with them about where the IM 7 version is located.
