ImageMagick as a engine for image editor?

Post by aidynskas »

Hi everyone,

I'm thinking about using ImageMagick as a engine for lightweight image editor. It seems that ImageMagick has everything I need and I've tested things like zooming, basic painting already.

Please post your thoughts and ideas about the advantages and disadvantages (if there are any :) ) of using ImageMagick as a engine for image editor application like photoshop, gimp, etc.

Anyone knows any commercial/open source image editor based on ImageMagick?

Thanks a lot!
