Send Error-Message to Log-File

Hello!
While I convert Image files there is an error like "Magick: Sorry, can not handle".
The Error is right, because the image is damaged. Now I want to wirte this line to a specific log-file for example "e:\myerrors\error.log".
Then I startet with the command /L "e:\myerrors\error.log" but the file was emty.
I try it with the "-debug"-option but then there are too much results in the file.
Any suggests?
