PhotoCD conversion and Color Profile

I am trying to convert a PhotoCD image to TIFF. This command works:
But I want to include one of the PhotoCD color profiles as a source profile, so I tried this:
An error message is shown and the profile conversion does not take place.
convert.exe: Color profile operates on another colorspace `icc' @ error/profile.
c/ProfileImage/5942.
Any idea what is wrong with it?
The sample file can be downloaded from here.
I believe the color profile pcdcnycc.icm can be found in your system if you have installed Photoshop CS3 or earlier.
